Lesson Plans
Alan specializes in offering beginner, intermediate and advanced guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo and mandolin lessons, to ages five and up. Each student gets their own personalized lesson plan, based on the kind of music they like, what their goals are, and how they learn best. Lessons are balanced to encompass music theory, sight-reading, technique, ear training, song learning, and performance/audition preparation. Alan can also help students learn how to use music notation software, as well as the basics behind music recording and production.
Aside from being educational, our hope is that lessons be a positive and fun experience for students; something they look forward to each week, and can ultimately look back on with fond memories!
